It's National Library Week!
I thought about it and I think one of the most important things a library can provide is a wide range of knowledge and viewpoints, both fiction and non-fiction. Sometimes others don't like those viewpoints, so they challenge and try to ban books. (See my Sept 29 11 post: http://libgeek101.blogspot.com/2011/09/banned-books.html .)
